Priysha Rajvanshi is a photographer born in India and currently based in London, pursuing a master’s in photography at the Royal College of Art. Her work is like a diary of a wanderer stumbling on wonders. Dwelling in the extraordinary of the so-called everyday ordinary, she plays with the boundaries of predefined categories.
Working on the overlapping of environment and bodies, a case for healing is what she makes. Her current research and practice are about building sites which might lend themselves to moments of enchantment, inspired by the works of Carl Jung, Jane Bennett, Sharon Blackie and others.
She was recently selected for the Photovogue residency at Voice (2022), and her work has been featured in Photovogue festival (2022), Portrait of Humanity Vol.4 (British Journal of Photography/2022), Edition 365 on open seas/ new art city(British Journal of Photography/2021), Vogue India(2023), among others.......
